“We Should Ban Together to Denounce Violence” – Rudy Giuliani at Emergency Press Conference This Morning in New York
Below are excerpts from ‘America’s Mayor’ Rudy Giuliani’s speech:
We saw the degradation of the law and the demoralization of law enforcement during the riots of 2020. We had persons in political leadership positions who advocated for the destruction of property and the incitement of violence. Politicians vilified law enforcement and were trying to push the defund the police movement. Do you know over 30 people were killed during those riots?
“I want to tell you, Justice Kavanaugh and Justice Gorsuch, you have unleashed a whirlwind, and you will pay the price,” Schumer said. “You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”
A young man traveled across the country with a plan to kill Kavanaugh.
Recently a man was charged with making death threats to Illinois GOP gubernatorial candidate, two people assaulted a Marco Rubio canvasser, a 41 yr old in North Dakota ran over and killed an 18-year-old Republican because of his political affiliation, and gunshots went through a GOP congressional candidate’s parent’s home.
I am asking the politicians and the media to stop trying to divide people. We should ban together to denounce violence. Anyone who commits a crime should be held accountable. We cannot give mixed messages by saying you can steal up to X amount of dollars and nothing will happen. All broken laws need to be addressed. Violent crimes should always be punishable by going to jail.
Because of soft on crime District Attorneys and Judges, New York has seen a 33% increase in crime.
A mother was shot to death in front of her three children after her husband was released for brutally beating her. The savage beating was filmed by a security camera. He had prior criminal behaviors.
A woman was raped while jogging and the violent criminal had 25 priors.
A woman pushing a stroller was shot and killed upper east side in June.
A teenager was shot and killed in a Brooklyn park in September.
A 15 year was shot and killed on the subway in October.
A 19-year-old NYC staff was shot and killed in October.
I could go on and on. I hear what the good people of America are concerned about.
[Rudy is right. Horrible crimes are now the norm in New York.]
I have come here today at the urging of many who want me to share my plan(s) for crime reduction.
I had the largest crime reduction statistics in New York City. [Next Rudi went on to discuss the following topics.]
- Com Stat
- Professor Wilson. Broken Windows
- Stop Question and Frisk
- Emphasize crime prevention over just arrests
- DA’s dereliction of duty
Leaders must have the courage and the love and respect for the people to push forward and do what is right.
New York City and state need Rudi Giuliani more than ever.
